Field: Diesel Natures AW15

In September of 2015 I traveled with Field to North Wales to shoot scenes for their Diesel New Natures AW2015 project. Using a combination of natural and artificial light, and an array of spectacular locations we shot plates for Field to later augmented with CGI to create a wonderfully surreal view on how we view the outdoors through technology.

Creative Review: Record sleeves of the Month

My photography for Darkstar’s Album ‘Foam Island’ is featured in Creative Review’s Blog and the Album Sleeves of the Month article.

North Wales with Field

For the last week I’ve been shooting locations in North Wales with Field. Early mornings, late nights, sand, rock and rain.

Dark Star - Album Photography

Darkstar’s new album ‘Foam Island’ is nearly upon us!

For the last 4 months I’ve been working with the band in Huddersfield shooting a photo series for the Album artwork.
The first single ‘Pin Secure’ is now available from Warp Records.

More to follow on release of the album.

Castrol TVC

In early January 2015 I shot the latest Castrol Magnatec TV advert directed by MLF. This huge feat of photographic innovation involved motion control, stop motion photography and LED lighting technology. Watch the making of video here to see the tremendous efforts of all involved.

Back to the Huddersfield

Visit three starts of my huddersfield photo series. Commissioned by Warp Records I’ve been photographing the town for Dark Star’s forthcoming album.
More to come!

Back to the Darkroom

After a two year absence from the darkroom it was a pleasure to be printing again. After a full day of printing it re-affirmed my faith in shooting on colour film. The physicality of a negative, the smell of chemicals and anticipation of the developed print is an unparalleled experience. Glad to be back!

See bellow a test print of ‘Bathers’, a photograph shot at the Dead Sea, part of a current personal project.

With thanks to Four Corners Film.
